My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Delilah is a laid back versatile 3 year old. She loved a long walk, running in a fenced yard, car rides, sitting quietly or sleeping her day away. She was in foster care for six weeks. Her first two weeks she cared for and weaned her pups. Then, she spent her time as a loyal companion in her temporary home. She loved chewing and gnawing on antlers and Nylabones. She chose a few stuffed toys to make security toys and carried them around with her and unstuffed and toss around other toys playfully. She never destroyed or chewed on anything that didn’t belong to her. She showed patience for her foster families very active 18 mos. old Lab. The two loved to roughhouse. This nice girl would let out playful growls and wrestle with abandon, but was never aggressive. She did well on a leash and was friendly with the neighborhood dogs and children. She’d give cats a second look, but she’d move on. Delilah did go on high alert when she saw rabbits and chipmunks and would cry and become anxious around aggressively barking dogs, but was never aggressive. She’d bark to let you know a visitor was in the drive, but she greeted them at the door with a tail wag and sometimes a hug. Delilah was taken out on a regular basis and never had an accident in the house. She is a happy dog that when she gets excited her whole back end wags, not just her tail. If you are looking for a sweet, loveable companion then Delilah is the one. Written by Delilah's loving foster mom.
