Rocko's Story...
Rocko was surrendered with his sister Nikki. They may not be litter mates, but they sure cuddle like they are! They can be adopted separately, but we would love if they were adopted together. Rocko is an incredibly loving long-haired tabby. He loves for his fluffy hair to be brushed, and rolls to his side to get some sweet belly rubs. Nikki is also very loving and friendly, and will climb into your lap if you sit with her! She would make an awesome cuddle buddy. Rocko is neutered and current on his vaccines. He tested negative for FIV/FeLV. His fee will be $95. Nikki is spayed and current on her vaccines. She tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Her fee will be $95. If you would be interested in adopting one, or both of these sweeties, call the shelter at 757-365-6318 or email us at animalservices@isleofwightus.net.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rocko, a Windsor Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Windsor, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Windsor.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Windsor already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Windsor breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Windsor paves the way for another one to be saved.
