Good with Cats: Unknown, can test for an approved applicant, but based on temperament, we believe he would be fine.
Good with Kids: Yes, but no small children. Small children would intimidate him.
Benny came from a severe hoarding case of over 40 dogs. He was never proper socialized and was in horrific condition. Benny has come a long way since we first rescued him. If you are looking for a dog that will be all over you and shower you with immediate love, then Benny is not for you. Benny would be a great companion dog to another small dog. He is very much a pack animal and follows wherever the herd goes. He will be shy at first, but if your heart is open to him, give him some time and he will love you once he gets to know you. Your patience will pay off with this sweet boy. Remember, Benny was failed by the human who had him. It is our goal to show him we are not here to hurt him, but to love him. His favorite thing is treats!

Peach County Animal Rescue is a rescue located in Fort Valley, GA. Our adoption fees range from $175-350+. On average, our fees are $250. Fees are higher for dogs that came to us with additional things like professional training (i.e. service dog, working dog). All of our dogs are fully vetted: up-to-date on annual shots, spayed/neutered and microchipped with a lifetime registration. We look forward to hearing from you!
