Jax's Info...

I am housetrained, purebred, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Jax's Story...

Jax is 2 1/2 years old and has been an inside/outside dog.  He was the smallest dog in the family, and some of the other dogs were not treating him very well. His family decided it would be better for Jax to find another home, and he was surrendered to ARF.  He was housetrained, but changing his surroundings has him a little confused about where he should go!  He's a cute little fella, only 8-9 pounds. He is silver and sable and he'd be even cuter with a professional groom.  Jax was surrendered on 4/18/2017 and was given a Duramune Max 5 shot and worming the day he came in.  He is a happy little guy who goes with the flow and who would love a new family and a fenced yard to keep him safe. He likes attention and doesn't want to miss a thing but to help do whatever you are doing! What a cute new family member Jax will be!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jax, a Ripley Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Ripley, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Ripley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ripley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ripley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ripley paves the way for another one to be saved.
