My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

BUSTER: 1 year old Black Lab Mix 60 Pounds Non-Neutered Male

Buster was rescued from the Ukiah shelter. His owner went up to animal control and said he no longer wanted his dog and the officer should take Buster. Ukiah contacted GGLRR as Buster’s time was up at the shelter and they felt such a nice boy deserved to live. The shelter asked us if we would take Buster, even though he was a mix. GGLRR stepped up and took Buster into our program.
GGLRR has Buster at our boarding facility where is he doing great. He gets to play with other dogs, he is clean in his kennel and he just wants to be with people. He knows a few commands but he does need more training but he wants to please. Buster likes to go for car rides, he gets along with other dogs and we think he could be placed in a home with cats.

Medical:

Buster is a very healthy boy and GGLRR will neuter him next week. He has his shots, he is heartworm negative and he is microchipped.

Buster will make a wonderful addition to your family.

Buster is located in Petaluma.

If you are interested in making BUSTER part of your pack please, call Rescue Rep Liz 415-613-6374 – liz@jobshopsf.com.

(Please keep in mind we are all volunteers, most of us work full time and we all have personal lives. I do call everyone back within 2-3 days so please be patient and I will be back in touch with you. When the dogs are in foster homes then it may take longer as we need to touch base with the fosters for updates on the dogs. We work very hard to make the right matches for the dogs and for the new owners. We get 3-5 dogs per week and we do not have a facility that we keep the dogs housed in. They are scattered all over the Bay Area.)
