Klaus was born December 5, 2016. He weighs 10 pounds. Klaus would like a new home with at least one other dog that enjoys playing "dog games". In the video clip he is playing with 3 puppies each weighing only 5 pounds. He is so gentle with them.
He is well socialized with people, dogs of all sizes and cats.
Klaus will alert to a stranger approaching by barking; however, he will quickly stop when you go to investigate.
Klaus likes being an under the blanket bed companion on a cool night.
Klaus's DNA is 50% Chihuahua and 50% Mixed Breed Groups which include Hound, Terrier, Companion and Herding breeds. Hound includes JRT and Dachshund breeds which share many aspects of his behavior.
His adoption fee is $ 300.00
I am not the kind of dog to leave in the yard while children are in school and adults are at work. I require a securely fenced yard of appropriate size for potty and play. This may be modified under certain circumstances. I am a good sized dog for an apartment or condo. A home check will be done and references checked. Applicants should live within 2 hours driving time of Auburn, CA.
