Melvin's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Melvin's Story...

Melvin is incredibly sweet and playful.  He loves ALL people.  He   He is crate trained, and appears to be mostly housebroken, but is having a few accidents.  We will know more after he's been with us for a little longer.  He is good with other dogs. He is even good with small kids and cats. His adoption fee is $100.

We initially thought Melvin was a chihuahua mix but now based on this picture http://puppydogweb.com/gallery/xoloitzxuintlis/xoloitzcuintli_crews.jpg

we believe he is a coated Xolo. We cannot guarantee this is his breed but it sure looks alot more like him than any chihuahua.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Melvin, a Tacoma Xoloitzcuintle/Mexican Hairless dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Xoloitzcuintle/Mexican Hairless for sale in Tacoma, or seeking a Xoloitzcuintle/Mexican Hairless dog from a breeder in Tacoma.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tacoma already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tacoma breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Xoloitzcuintle/Mexican Hairless breeders who help with Xoloitzcuintle/Mexican Hairless rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tacoma paves the way for another one to be saved.
