Anya's Story...

If you are looking for a smart, athletic, energetic but not hyper, super trainable dog that is already well started, this could be your girl. At six months old and around 30 pounds, she will not be very large full grown. She is sweet and affectionate. She knows basic commands and a few bonus tricks. She is mostly housebroken as long as her owners are consistent with getting her outside. Leash trained and crate trained. Loves walks, runs, car rides and fun training sessions. Very treat and ball motivated. Looking for an active family to keep her busy. But someone who also has time for a good evening snuggle on the couch. Kids over 8 would be great. No kitties please! A compatible male dog might be ok depending on the dog. Adoption fee $200

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Anya, a Tacoma Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Tacoma, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Tacoma.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tacoma already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tacoma breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tacoma paves the way for another one to be saved.
