Chico's Story...
My name is Chico, I am a 9 year-old 6 pound little boy. I am house trained and crate trained. I am easy going and I like to chill out on the couch with people and other dogs. I have also lived with a cat and I have a microchip. I just had my teeth cleaned (I lost 9) and a vet check with my shots UTD and am a healthy boy. I am an owner surrender because my Mom could not keep me anymore.

For more info about me, email my foster mom at crandr@chihuahuarescueandreferrals.com My adoption fee is $200 plus my one-time microchip registration fee of $10.99.

We do not do same day adoptions unless you are preapproved. Adoption application with references checked and a home visit are required. We do many special events during the year, so check our calendar on our website: www.chihuahuarescueandreferrals.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chico, a Seattle Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Seattle, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Seattle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Seattle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Seattle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Seattle paves the way for another one to be saved.
