Johnny is an loyal, sweet, loving dog. We acquired Johnny from a neighbor's dog who had puppies. Johnny is almost a year and a half. Given that he is an Alaskan Malamute mixed with German Shepherd he is very high energy and very enthusiastic. We are looking for a home that has the TIME and SPACE for him. He can jump 6 foot fences and figur out how to get out of crates. He needs someone who is either home all day or a farmer/rancher who has space for him to run.
He is extremely sensitive and so charismatic. It is breaking my husband's heart that we have to rehome him but it is best for Johnny. We are both gone 10 or more hours in the day and Johnny has to be crated. If he is left alone for more than 10 minutes he will find something to chew or destroy. I believe he has some separation anxiety issues but unfortunately we do not have the time or resources to do some training. I cannot emphasize enough what a sweet dog he is- all he wants in your attention and love!
