Grey's Story...

Grey's foster family says:

Look at me!!!  Aren't I the cutest little ewok you ever did see!!  My name is Grey and I am looking for my forever family.  I love everyone - kids, adults, strangers, dogs.  I just want to be on your lap. That's right...if you have a lap, I am on it!  I have been so patient and now my foster mom says I am ready to spread my paws and find my forever family.  I cannot wait to meet you. I hope you come soon!

Grey is available through Looking Glass Animal Rescue, a 501(c)(3) non profit.  We require an adoption application, reference checks and home visit.  A tax-deductible adoption fee is required.  All dogs are altered, vaccinated and microchipped.  Please see our website for questions on our adoption process, lgarinc.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Grey, a Ridgefield Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Ridgefield, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Ridgefield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ridgefield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ridgefield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ridgefield paves the way for another one to be saved.
