Here's what the humans have to say about me:
TEXAS: We have an incredible dog with an incredible story up for adoption, a Christmas miracle boy!
Formally introducing… Captain Ron! When sweet Ron was sprung from the San Antonio shelter, we thought he may be a hospice case. He was riddled with mange, had infections all over his body, and starving – he only weighed 39 lbs.
Ron came to his foster on Christmas day 2016 and slept for an entire week, snuggled in a soft, warm bed. Despite being so weak, Ron was incredibly sweet and gentle. Thanks to Lucky Lab and our AMAZING supporters like you, Ron started to heal. Within a few weeks, his fur had grown back and he was feeling great! Five-year-old Ron is now ready to be adopted in the Central Texas area!
Ron loves almost everything. He enjoys car rides, sleeping, sunbathing, playing with doggy friends, and sitting by your feet while you read a book. He’s good with children too!
Ron gets a little too interested in cats, so he’d be best in a feline-free home. He’s also afraid of thunder and prefers to sit by you during those scary storms. We can’t blame him.
Ron has the spirit of a truly good dog. Even with a difficult start to life, he remained gentle, upbeat, and friendly!
He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and housebroken.
