My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

A little background on Lady from her foster mom... I was notified of a dog being dumped in a rural area by multiple people. It was raining so hard and I drove around that night looking but could not find her. The next morning I was making my way around the mountain where she had been spotted previously. I was running late because I had to be at work and was about to give up as I made my way back off the mountain when I noticed movement from a pile of trash over the hill. I stopped immediately and realized it was her! I got put it was raining and cold. I said hi pretty girl and she laid there shaking. I threw her a bone she gobbled it up and her tail begin to wag. I said come little "Lady" and she came right to me and hopped in the car. She is so sweet and has been since I laid eyes on her! Lady is just that.. a lady! She is so kind and gentle! She is a lover! Loves everyone! She is crate trained and housebroken. Her tail wags meeting everyone! When approached she sits so still as you pet her. She loves to be petted! She loves being outside! If interested in adopting, please visit www.masrescue.org and click on "Adopt Here". The adoption fee is $300.00. Please Note: 100% of all the adoption fees collected are used to care for the animals, and pay our ever increasing vet bill. We appreciate your interest in adopting from a rescue organization. We understand the desire to meet our "cuties" as soon as possible, but because we operate entirely out of foster homes, we need to limit visitation to approved applicants only. Once your completed application is submitted by you and approved by MASR, we will be glad to schedule your visit. This dog has been examined by our vet, spayed or neutered (if not previously done), vaccinations updated, heartworm negative, and has been microchipped. Breed Selection is 'Best Efforts' given by shelter staff, veterinarians and rescue volunteers. NO guarantees are implied. Dogs benefit greatly from Obedience Training - and we encourage you to check out http://www.pupsdogobediencetraining.com/ . They offer a great discount for training of dogs coming from MAS Rescue! Please note that small breeds are not well designed for families with young children as everything about them is more delicate and will require careful handling. Remember adoption is a commitment for the lifetime of your new furry friend; dogs could live 15 years or more!!
