Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Cutie Cooper was a stray found rummaging thru garbage looking for food. He was skin & bones and covered with the grime of the city. Thankfully someone scooped him up and brought him to safety. All Star stepped up to take him in after he was given a nice bath and an initial vet exam. He was thought to be 4-5 years old and filled with worms. They have since been taken care of so he is ready for the next stage of his journey....an odyssey to find his furever home.
Cooper is an affectionate boy - he loves everyone he meets. He gave all his visitors at adoption day a hug. He is good with most small & medium dogs but he is afraid of the larger breeds. He does not like the crate and can be barky so he is not suited for apartment living. he does have accidents in the house, probably because he was out on the street so long. But Cooper is VERY motivated by food and would be a quick learner for a guardian with patience. He is still on the thin side and we are working to get some meat on his bones. Right now he is about 18 pounds but should be more in the 20 - 25 pound range. He has been vetted so he is up to date with his vaccines, neutered and microchipped. If you have a house and are looking for a fun family companion please consider Cooper. After all he's been thru, he deserves a safe and comfortable place to lay his head.
