Charlene’s unique smile makes her stands out among other dogs. She’s not only beautiful, but also with loving, mellow, and stable personality. She’d passionately greet people she knows with big smile and happy wagging tail, but would also proceed with caution in front of strangers. She mingles with other dogs of all sizes and cats too. Charlene’s bio:
Hi, my name is Charlene. Every time when I'm taking a walk with my foster mother, I noticed that people were looking at me with adoration, and gave me praise for my attractive appearance. But who can imagine the past miseries I have endured? Let me tell you about them.
I don't know who my parents are. Ever since I can remember, my two other siblings and I never had a home. We wondered on the streets, fed on the meager food we could find. We were often hungry and shooed away by strangers.
One day we were taken to a home by a man. But our life didn't change for the better. We were beaten and had very little to eat. Worse yet, we found out that this man was a back alley vendor for dog meat!
Finally I escaped, and wondered to a market place. A fish vendor kept me behind his cabinet and fed me regularly. Not long after I was seen by the landlord of the market place, he treated me with clubs and kicks every time.
Three months later, I met the rescuer, who found me a temporary home. How I wish to have a permanent home of my own and be loved and cared for by family members!
