Holly's Story...
Hi, I'm Holly. It's nice to meet you, will you be my cuddle buddy, hold me and keep me safe? I'm a little slow to trust but once we bond, I'm committed! I am a 7 year old Chihuahua/Dachshund mix. I'm a bit nervous of all the things the world has in store but I'm up for defeating my fears. I'm fine with other dogs, once we are introduced. Cats.... are bigger than me, but I like them. Kids.... pass, they're just too much! I love fetching and I get the evening zoomies, that should put a smile on your face. My adoption fee is $150. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Holly, a Vancouver Chihuahua/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Dachshund for sale in Vancouver, or seeking a Chihuahua/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Vancouver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vancouver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vancouver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Dachshund breeders who help with Chihuahua/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vancouver paves the way for another one to be saved.
