Kathmandu's Story...
How do you do? I’m Kathmandu! Quite a big name for such a little kitty. You see, I’m still a kitten – I was born in October of 2016. As you would much expect from a girl my age, I’m a playful sort. I enjoy just about any kind of toy. I revel in every new toy I find to play with here at the FOHA communal cattery and each new climbing and hiding spot I explore. When not playing with any of the other cats here at the cattery that I can cajole into my games, I love all of the people who come to visit – the staff and volunteers who pet me and let me give them kisses – I even kiss hands with gentle kitty licks. I’m a gorgeous girl with medium-length fur that’s luxuriously perfect for petting. I sure hope I don’t have to travel all the way to Nepal to find my forever home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kathmandu, a Aldie Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Aldie, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Aldie.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Aldie already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Aldie breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Aldie paves the way for another one to be saved.
