Hi folks, I'm Checkers. I'm 6 months old and weigh 29 pounds. Do you like my stripe? That's how people tell me apart from my brother, Chuck. Chuck and I ended up in a shelter. We were pretty scared and didn't know what would happen to us. Then we were told we were going to a place called "rescue". We didn't really know what that meant, but the people here have been really nice to us. They are making sure we are healthy and then they are going to find us real families!
