Here's what the humans have to say about me:
KenMarRescue.org
Hi! My name is Carter and I am an adorable 2 year, 14 lbs., small neutered terrier. I am up to date with all of my shots and microchipped.
I am affectionate, love to cuddle, but most of all enjoy the company of my humans. I am learning to walk well on leash and my foster mom takes me on new adventures everyday to help me feel more comfortable in new situations, especially when I encounter other dogs on leash that I might not know. I am learning that meeting new dogs on walks can be a fun and joyful experience and am grateful to have patient humans teaching me the right way to become a good canine citizen.
I was a stray on the streets of South Los Angeles and a Good Samaritan brought me into a city shelter. When I was available to be rescued, the kind folks at Ken-Mar Rescue scooped me right up and took me straight to their vet where I had a nose to tail check up. I have no known medical issues.
I am currently in foster care with my foster mom living in a very pet friendly apartment complex.
I am full grown and am looking for my forever family. I recently got my summer shave puppy cut at the groomer. You can see the "before and after" pictures on my profile.
The ideal home for me would include:
1. A loving family that would take me on walks twice a day so I can relieve myself and go on adventures.
2. Canine or human siblings that are gentle and friendly.
3. A place to love and be loved.
