LEAH's Story...
This litter of five is completely made up of hard playing girls. All of them are good natured, happy and sweet puppies. They love each other, get along with other dogs and as you can see in some of the pictures, they even get along with “photo bombing” cats. These puppies were thrown out in a field in a very rural area of the county. They had been out there for a couple of days and of course they were scared to death and hungry. A nice lady found them and lured them to her house with food. Once they were there, she and her little daughter befriended them and contacted us to see if we could take them into our rescue. Later we were told by an anonymous person that they are a Husky/Boxer mix. This pretty girl is sure to bring about a lot of fun to some lucky family. She was born around 12/4/16 making her almost 5 months old and weighing 22 pounds at the time of this posting (5/2/17). She has been spayed, fecal tested, microchipped, current on all vaccines, worming and on heartworm and flea prevention. Her adoption fee is $400.

Leah is being fostered in Tennessee. Once adopted she will be transported to her pickup location by a professional dog transport company. Our rescue ships to the New England area every week and her fee does include transportation.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

LEAH, a Newburgh Husky/Boxer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky/Boxer for sale in Newburgh, or seeking a Husky/Boxer puppy from a breeder in Newburgh.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newburgh already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newburgh breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky/Boxer breeders who help with Husky/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newburgh paves the way for another one to be saved.
