Additional info:

Melody is a great girl, good with other dogs and loves to play. She is a pretty high jumper and will jump up into your arms. (She is just as likely to jump onto a coffee table or a couch so she needs to learn what's appropriate!). She is also a climber, and if foster or adopter has a yard, patio, or balcony Melody will need to be supervised. She is sweet and friendly once she gets to know you. She will alarm bark at noises outside that she is not familiar with and also when new people enter her territory although she shows no signs of aggression and the alarm barking doesn't last long. As soon as she is able to be properly introduced to someone, she settles down and is playful and loving. We do not recommend her for a home with kids at this time. She is learning to walk on leash and knows the command SIT. She is very affectionate, thinks she's a puppy, has a sweet nature and is super smart and curious. She's ready for her forever home right now.
