My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Copper. Copper is a 3 year old male Blue Heeler and Catahoula Leopard
Dog mix. When our founder was vacationing in Kauai, she stopped by the Kauai
Humane Society to see if they needed any help with any of the herding
breeds, as there are not a lot of options for them there. Some months later,
BCIN was contacted to see if we would take Copper and he was transported to
BCIN via Alaska Airlines.

Copper is a happy and energetic dog, and enjoys being around other dogs. He
also likes being with people, He does have a prey drive and would cannot be
placed in a home with cats or other small animals. He does not climb or dig.
Copper requires an active lifestyle with plenty of exercise and a home with
clear, concise direction. He loves to play fetch with a ball and bring it
back to you. Copper knows his basic obedience and walks well on a leash.

Copper is a very loyal dog and he can resource guard his person, as he
sometimes prefers women to men.
