My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Akron is a handsome, affectionate, and playful medium-haired boy, about 1 1/2 years old, who arrived as an abandoned kitty, left behind to fend for himself when his owners moved. He's not a polydactyl, but uses his big paws like hands anyway. He is a talker - very vocal! - and really enjoys his time on the porch of his Meow Manor. Akron has a little bit of a catnip habit, ha, and loves to play. He is not really interested in the other cats in his room, and prefers to spend his time lounging solo on the porch or hanging out with the humans. He would be happy as an indoor or an indoor-outdoor cat (if indoors only, he would really enjoy a catio or some perches near screened windows).

All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee for Akron is suggested minimum $40 (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts. Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to both the Seattle area and Spokane, delivering adopted pets to their new owners.
