Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Jack was found as a stray and was bounced around multiple homes over the past couple months until finally landing with our rescue. He was hyper and jittery at first at our foster's home, most likely from the stress of being transferred yet again, but he has settled down nicely after only a few days. Jack the chihuahua is approximately one year old, weighs 11 pounds, and is house trained and crate trained. He has a fashionable mohawk (a ridge of fur that stands up, see photo) and prize-winning, attentive ears. Jack is good with the other dogs in his foster home, and barks at cats but doesn't try to harm them. He loves to give kisses and can get a little mouthy in his exuberance, but he never actually bites down. He might do better in a home without kids, or with older children only, because of his small size and tendency to mouth, but he he did do great with an active, exuberant 5 year old he visited with. As for his personality, he is a snuggle bug! He cuddles hard core with his people and blankets, and loves to lick, including inside his foster mom's ears. He also "talks" while he's giving licks and kisses and we think that's absolutely adorable. Jack is energetic and enjoys playing with tennis balls. We know that he'll be ecstatic to finally find a FOREVER home!
