Dolly- ADOPTION PENDING's Story...
Please note we are currently reviewing applications to find the best fit for Dolly, and will no longer be accepting any other applications. If this does change, we will update this posting. Thank you.

Miss Dolly arrived at our facility as a stray so we do not have any previous history on her. We believe her to be around 5 years of age, and she hasn't had the best treatment prior to arriving here. She suffered from hair loss, ear infections and likely a skin infection as well! Despite all of that, she has a great temperament and has never complained about taking her antibiotics, receiving ear medication or having frequent baths. She is looking way better than when she first arrived, and you can tell she feels so much better. Dolly loves to go for walks, and loves to cuddle with her human friends. While we haven't directly had her with other dogs, she would likely be okay with a buddy her size. She's not the biggest fan of small dogs. Please email for an adoption application. Dolly has a checkup at the vet soon, and then should be available for adoption shortly after.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dolly- ADOPTION PENDING, a Port Coquitlam Wheaten Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Wheaten Terrier for sale in Port Coquitlam, or seeking a Wheaten Terrier dog from a breeder in Port Coquitlam.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Port Coquitlam already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Port Coquitlam breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Wheaten Terrier breeders who help with Wheaten Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Port Coquitlam paves the way for another one to be saved.
