Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Fern! This girl caught our eye and our hearts while at animal control. We met her while she was on her stray hold and her sullen cage presence broke our hearts. Fern is a wonderful adult Staffordshire Terrier mix who we estimate to be around six years old. While sullen and shut down in her kennel, she still leaned against the cage bars looking to be pet. We could not wait to bust her out of animal control and as soon as her stray hold was up we were there, ready to bring her home with her foster!
Fern enjoys being out and hanging with the other dogs in her foster home. She is a gem on car rides. She enjoys laying down and resting her eyes while you do all the hard work behind the wheel. She enjoys both classic rock and country. Fern has a foster human who is 1 years old & she adores him. She is very laid back and easy going so a house with kids is no issue to her.
Fern would love kids & other dogs in her forever home but would be just fine being spoiled by a family that doesn't have either. As long as someone gives her a daily snuggle and her favorite salmon treats she will love them endlessly.
Fern is having knee surgery within the next couple of weeks and will be adoptable after that!
