Merlot's Story...
Hi, I am Merlot! I am a good boy that LOVES to talk to you! I will tell you all about my day if you will let me! I currently live with my wonderful foster family that is working on teaching me all about how to sit and lay down and go potty outside and how to be a good boy!
I love to play with bubble too! Bubbles are my favorite! I also love to play with my foster siblings too! I have an older foster sister that teaches me all sorts of fun stuff and how to get more treats from my foster mom! And I also have a little foster brother that I try to teach stuff to!
if you are looking for a fun boy that likes to play and that loves to have a good conversation, I am your boy!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Merlot, a Fairview Heights Border Collie/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever for sale in Fairview Heights, or seeking a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Fairview Heights.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fairview Heights already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fairview Heights breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Border Collie/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fairview Heights paves the way for another one to be saved.
