My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Description: Daisy May is a 11 month old, Maltese/havanese puppy. She weighs 8.6 lbs. She is white with a little cream color and the cutest thing you have ever seen!
Daisy May was rescued from a scary high kill shelter. In foster care she is blossoming and loves to sit on her foster mom's lap and play with her toys. She is good with people and other dogs. She will use a pee pad.

Needs: Daisy will need an adopter who has experience working with fearful dogs. She is acting friendly with people and other dogs now. She is going to need patient and loving training as she has some triggers when she becomes fearful that can lead to nipping. A single woman or couple would be great as long as all members are extremely patient and invested in her training. We will not place her with children, or with people who have small grand children who visit. You must have the time, patience and experience dealing with fearful dogs.

Fee: $425. It includes spay, heart worm test, vaccinations including rabies, health certificate, flea treatment and deworming. And transportation from CA to WA.

Process: All interested parties will be asked to fill out an application. One can be found on our website. WWW.littleblessingsrescue.vpweb.com. We can send you one too. We make decisions based on our dog's needs, so basically we are match makers. Not all dogs need the same thing. We also do home visits, so far distances from Seattle and out of state adoptions won't be doable. Emails over phone calls are appreciated. We just don't have the time to answer every call.
