Estelle: 2 years old, red, spayed female, natural ears, docked tail, 10" & 9 lbs., shots up-to-date, micro chipped. Rescued from shelter.
Estelle is a very sweet little girl. She has had a rough start in her Young Life, but she will warm up to just the right person. She has to learn to trust. She is playful, she talks, and has an adorable little face. This pretty red girl loves to dress up. She gets along with dogs, and loves to play with cats.
Estelle is potty trained, but she picks and chooses when she wants to go out. If it's too cold, she does not want to go out, and I have to make her go out. I do not have a doggie door but I am sure that she can learn the ins and outs of that with some exposure to one. A securely fenced yard is required for this girl as she is still too skittish for open areas.
Estelle is more comfortable using certain words for certain actions, for example: she knows sit, wait and up. You will have to use specific words to pick her up, and if you don't do it right she freaks out. She definitely was not treated well and has some trust issues, but once she warms up to you she is a complete snuggle-bug. Estelle will be a very loyal companion once she gains that trust.
The right people for Estelle is someone who is patient, and will take the time with this youngster to help her get to know you and form a trusting relationship. Someone who learns her vocabulary, and uses it for her to understand what you need her to do, and what you will be doing with her, is essential. I know that right person is out there, as her Foster Mom I have built that relationship with her, and I know you can too.

Arrangements can be made with the foster parent; however, it is a requirements that the Adoption Application be completed and approved first.
