Hi, I'm Lincoln!

I'm a 2.5 year old goofy, fun-loving pup looking for an active family to share my zest for life and keep everyone smiling with joy.

My story before Shadows Fund is a bit sad. I was found in the middle of an orchard, lost and confused. When I saw some people who came looking for me, I ran quickly to them because I thought that they were my long, lost family, but instead I was given shelter in a concrete kennel.

Even with my background, I love all people, but am still learning on how to offer appropriate greetings when we meet. I'm likely a little over zealous for really small children. I'm very playful and enjoy other dogs, but that will have to wait for a while as the good people at Shadows Fund are helping to get my leg fixed. I must have hurt it when I was out in the orchard before they found me.

I've been lucky enough to have had training time to work on important life skills like leash walking. They say that I'm a quick learner because I want to please my people. I'm great on car rides and crate-trained.

I'm already neutered, microchipped and fully vaccinated, so email info@shadowsfund.org to set up a time to meet me, Lincoln.

About Shadow's Fund

About Our Rescue Group...

Shadow's Fund was created to provide rescue, rehabilitation, and re-homing for seniors and other special needs dogs that often get passed over by the public in shelters. Our goal is to provide those without hope the chance to experience love and joy again.

Come Meet Our Pets...

By Appointment at our facility, in your home, or at a public location.

Our Adoption Process...

We strive to place all of our rescued dogs in forever homes.

Our adoption process includes an questionnaire to learn more about what you are looking for, a meet and greet with the dog and your pets, a home visit, and an adoption contract.

Our adoption fee is $250 for adults and $350 for puppies. To encourage families to consider bringing in senior dogs to their home, we usually waive or greatly reduce the adoption fee.
