My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ruby is an absolute pleasure to foster and one of the easiest dogs I've had- I would characterize her as a low maintenance companion dog. She is about 2 year old and out of her destructive puppy stage. She is about 30 pounds and a lab mix. She is absolutely amazing with other dogs (any size and age). She is potty trained and crate trained. In fact she knows my routine so well that she runs into her crate at night and when I'm getting ready to leave the house. Ruby walks great on a leash and does not pull. She knows how to get in and out of a car well. She is pretty mellow and plays nicely with her toys when bored. Ruby needs some more practice in busy places as she can get scared. She may take a few days to warm up to her new people but when she does, it is extremely rewarding because she falls in love with you. Ruby has been an inside dog in her foster home and has thrived. Her ideal adopter is one that understands she may need some patience, especially at first and give her sufficient time to get comfortable in her new home. She rarely barks and would likely do well in an apartment setting. She is her foster sister's best friend and deserves the absolute best home. She knows a few commands including come and sit as well. Her adoption fee is $150 and includes up to date shots, heart worm test, microchip and spay.
