My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chief is a loving dog that wants to be involved with the family. He is energetic and good tempered. He needs a home where he will have a lot of attention and exercise. That is all he needs.

We got Chief at 8 weeks; now he is 10 months old. He will be 1 year old on July 24th. Though Chief has played with other dogs, we would prefer him in a home without other dogs.

He has had all shots, he has been neutered, he has regular heartworm medicine and he is micro-chipped. Chief also went through an 8 week dog training class. He knows, sit, down, stay, wait...

At 10 months he is a wonderful dog, but we unfortunately underestimated our schedules. We do not want Chief to be stuck in a house all day and then again at night when our kids are participating in activities. We are trying to make the best decision for the dog even though it is hard for us.

He loves marrow bones and chicken treats. He also loves his KONG filled with peanut butter. Currently, he eats Purina Puppy Chow.

Chief loves to run and chase sticks and lacrosse balls - he loves to go for walks... he is still a puppy - but an 85 pound puppy!!
