My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nine year-old Lola was surrendered to an East Bay shelter by her owners with a neck wound possibly from an embedded collar. Lola is SUCH a sweetie! We know you hear that a lot about shelter dogs, but she really is. We figure she's a Border Collie/Aussie/Pit Bull but that's just an educated guess. She’s easy going, great on a leash, knows some basic commands and her primary goal in life is to snuggle with you. Our volunteers have been sitting with her and she basically tries to to ‘become one’ with them. She’ll get as close as she can then roll over on her back with the biggest grin on her face, ready for some vigorous belly rubs and lots of attention. She’s a bit uh, portly, being about 10 pounds overweight but she will lose it with no problem because she loves her walks. She's settling in beautifully for now - until we help her find her TRULY forever, loving home!
