Benji's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Benji's Story...
Benji is a 1 year old, 17 pound scruff who was surrendered to our rescue group! We have no idea what this boys breed is...except we do know he is ridiculously cute. He's low/medium energy, loves to cuddle, and is house trained. He isn't a big fan of being in a kennel. He would prefer to chill with his person rather than play. He does fine with other dogs and older children.

If you are interested in adding Benji to your family, please go to www.goofyfootrescue.org to complete an online adoption application. He is currently being fostered in west Tennessee. He will be transported once his adoption is finalized. Transport runs to the following cities: Harrisonburg, VA; Hagerstown, MD; Harrisburg, PA; Allentown, PA; Bedminster, NJ; Southington, CT; Willington, CT.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Benji, a Hagerstown Border Terrier/Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Terrier/Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Hagerstown, or seeking a Border Terrier/Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Hagerstown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hagerstown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hagerstown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Terrier/Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Border Terrier/Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hagerstown paves the way for another one to be saved.
