BONDED PAIR: Meet Sapphire and Sophie, a pair of 8 month old Boxer Pit Bull Terrier mixes who are sisters. Both Sapphire and Sophie are now tripods, after each suffered a broken femur which resulted in the loss of a leg. Our local shelter asked for our assistance when they were both surrendered after each losing a leg. We cannot disclose the details of these injuries at this time, but will update as more info becomes available. The good news is both these sweet girls surgeries were successful, and only having 3 legs hasn't slowed them down one bit. They are friendly, love everyone and just want to play, but do enjoy their snuggle time.
