It's been over a month now and we are shocked that Penny Lane is still here looking for her forever home.

Penny Lane is a 6 year old Havenese. For years, the only life Penny knew was that of a breeding facility. Loud and cramped, her only purpose was to produce puppies year in and year out. Understandably, Penny was scared when arriving at the shelter and lacked any socialization. Our staff and volunteers have worked with her, but the shelter environment is still a scary place for one so little.

Penny Lane has experienced a lot of firsts since arriving. She visited the vet where she was spayed and had a full dental cleaning. She then went to the groomer and got a new summer haircut.

Penny Lane is looking for a home that will be patient with her and give her the time needed to blossom into a wonderful companion. We think she'd do best in a quiet home or a home with another small dog to show her how to be a dog. Penny's adoption fee is $120 and includes her spay, rabies shot, up-to-date vaccinations and microchipping.
