Calvin's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Calvin's Story...
Looking for a big meat head with lots of personality? Then Calvin might be your boy. He is around 2 years old, and truly a puppy at heart. He is still learning proper play with his humans, but he has done amazing with his foster family. He is a short stocky boy, weighing in at 70lbs. He will do best in a home that is ready to provide structure and a good routine. He is pretty calm and cuddly in the home but ready to romp and play outside. Good with most dogs, no cats or very small children please (He is still learning his manners around kids). He is neutered, up to date on shots, microchipped, and Heart worm negative.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Calvin, a Clarksville American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Clarksville, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Clarksville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Clarksville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Clarksville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Clarksville paves the way for another one to be saved.
