My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

IDGSR WELCOMES SABASTIAN INTO THE SAFETY OF THE RESCUE!!!!

Sabastian is a male German Shepherd mix puppy who is approx. 12-14 weeks old. He was turned into a shelter with his 4 littermates, 3 males and one female who will also be listed for adoption soon. We do not know what they are mixed with but they are all high content German Shepherd mixes. Sabastian is in a foster home now and his foster mom says he is very smart and learns quickly. Here is what his foster mom has to say about him:

"What a joy he is! I really can't explain how awesome he is. He minds very well. I already have him housebroken in a week! He walks side by side without pulling on the leash. He has learned his name. He does have the typical chewing and stuff but what puppies don't. He is going to make an awesome family dog when he gets adopted! "

Sabastian is cute and lovable like all puppies are but he is still a puppy and will need lots of guidance from his new family so he can be the best grown up dog he can be. Obedience training in a puppy class can help with this and also form a bond with the new owner. Puppies require a lot of time and attention so they don't get into mischief and it takes time for them to learn new habits and household routines. Sabastian has gotten a great start in his foster home and is ready to start the next chapter of his life with his new family.

If you would like to make Sabastian a part of your family, please copy the link and fill out an application.
