Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This sweet cocker girl is on her way home with her new family and they also adopted Ginger.
This cocker girl needs an adult only home with lots of love and patience.
My name is Mitzi. I am a black, spayed cocker spaniel girl about 4 years old. I was taken in by an elderly Good Samaritan who noticed that I had been left behind when my owners quickly moved out of the neighborhood. She couldn't keep me, so her daughter asked for rescue help to find me a home.
I am heartworm negative, in good health and friendly but shy. I must have been treated badly by my owners because these rescue folks quickly learned that I snap out of fear if they tried to touch me or make me do something. I have not tried to bite. With great patience they have worked with me. Now I know they aren't going to hurt me, so I am not so scared anymore. I have become a happy, dancing girl who can be quite silly to get your attention. In my new home I will need a patient owner who will continue to work with me and give me time to trust you. I am doing well with the other cockers in my foster home. I will do best in a home with someone who can spend quality time with me, give me lots of attention and love and not be gone for long hours. I will be very happy to be your indoor doggie, share a great life with you and keep you company in the house as a favorite companion. Please give me a 2nd chance to have the loving home that I deserve.
