My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you are interested in IGGY, or in adopting a pup in general, the first step is an adoption application.
Download an adoption application here
Please email the completed application to pat.woofriver@gmail.com
Please submit an application rather than an inquiry with no application attached.

SID and his brother IGGY are definitely a precious pair. They are small but mighty boys (especially SID). These boys are fortunate to have an awesome foster mom who is home with them almost all the time since she is studying for a major exam. Their foster mom has gotten them on a great routine so they are leaps and bounds ahead of other puppies their age in the potty training department. These smart boys are the perfect mix of cuddly and fun. They are also a cuteness overload! SID AND IGGY are going to be medium sized boys...our best guess is 30-35 lbs as adults. They have been doted on and socialized from the moment they arrived. They are going to make endless happy memories in their forever homes.

SID and IGGY will be microchipped and vaccinated as many times as age allows when they join their forever families.
Each boy's $450 adoption fee includes the cost of his transport after he is adopted.

Please email the completed application to pat.woofriver@gmail.com. It typically takes us around 5 BUSINESS DAYS to process an application. We will reach out to you as soon as your application is processed. Thank you for your patience.

All of our dogs start their journey in Memphis, Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted. Once adopted, they travel via one of our transport partners to their new forever homes. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our New England, Nashville, and Knoxville adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com) and The Road Home Pet Transport for our Midwest adopters (https://www.facebook.com/roadhomepettransport).

Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Woof River is 100% volunteer operated. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
