Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Monte is a male DSH Orange Tabby; DOB 4/5/07. Monte is up-to-date on vaccinations, neutered and front declawed. He is special needs - diabetic. Monte initially came to us as an owner surrender - he had been turned over to a local vet for euthanasia but we do not have specifics on why. Monte was adopted out from us, but then returned due to litter box issues - the adopters had not tried to find out why Monte was having issues, just returned him with little remorse. Upon his return it was clear to us that Monte had something physically wrong and a trip to the vet told us what that was - he had become diabetic. We've gotten Monte back on track and he is doing well, with no litter box issues whatsoever. We are looking for a home for Monte with an adopter or foster who has had experience with diabetes as Monte will need to be closely monitored to ensure his diabetes stays in check.
Monte is a big, lovable, quiet fella. He gets along well with other cats and dogs don't seem to phase him at all. This fella has been through so much in his lifetime, won't you please consider him so that he can have the best years of his life in a safe, loving home. He deserves lots and lots of love and he most certainly will give that back to you tenfold.
