If you're looking for an all around awesome new family member, you're gonna hit a grand slam with this little guy. Astro is a 4-5 year old male who is as sweet and friendly as they come. He is cuddly and lovable and loves to play ball. This little guy was confiscated in a drug raid and and was having seizures when he checked into the medical wing of the Cocker Inn. Our vets suspected that he had either gotten into the drugs or they were being given to him. With daily medication, the seizures have completely stopped. Astro also has heartworms but because of the seizures, it was recommended that we use the "slow kill" method to treat for them so they are currently dying off and will be gone within a few months. (this method is commonly used by rescue groups and is often considered the safest way to treat for heartworms). Don't let his health issues scare ya off because he is doing great and has LOTS of love to give.
