My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Fernando’s doctor describes him as “One Big Husky Boy”! Fernando is a special hybrid macaw who is about 75% Blue & Gold Macaw and about 25% Military Macaw, which makes him one gentle boy. Fernando is one tame spoiled baby.

Fernando is a young 14 years old, DNA male macaw who prefers and experienced female handler, and or he will tolerate a male handler, as long as he is, patient, sweet, and gentle with him.

*We prefer to place Fernando with an experienced macaw handler. *A person who already has tame macaws is a plus, and a female hander is a bonus for Fernando! Fernando is most comfortable and thrives with other macaws around him.

*
*Home visits are mandatory, so delivery is available in most local areas of Washington and Oregon State.

*We will not place Fernando in a home with children under the age of 17.
An additional transportation fee will be required for those qualified applicants who live more than 25 miles from Portland, Oregon.
