Buddy's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Buddy's Story...
Buddy was just rehomed on May 19. He had a sleepover on May 18 and snuggled into his adoptive family's hearts. Many thanks to those who were interested and especially the person who took time to fill out an application.

This handsome four-year-old tri-color beagle is Buddy. He’s an extremely affectionate little guy whose favorite pastime is simply being with his people – for a snuggle, a walk around the block, a scratch behind the ears, and another snuggle or two, before settling down for a nap. Buddy loves everyone he meets and considers everyone a friend. Buddy's a low-maintenance pup who will shower you will love!

Like all beagles, Buddy lives by his nose, investigating every smell he comes across. But unlike many beagles, he rarely barks. An ideal companion!

Buddy has mild hip dysplasia, which doesn’t seem to slow him down one bit, but as he ages, he may need Glucosamine and Chondroitin supplements (his special need).

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buddy, a Columbus Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Columbus, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Columbus.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbus already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbus breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbus paves the way for another one to be saved.
