Dayo's Story...
Dayo is a friendly and affectionate 90-pound Rottweiler who was surrendered to Kiko’s care in search of a better lifestyle after having lived in a small downtown apartment. Dayo, who is only 2.5 years of age, has a lovely personality and doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. He was used to going to the dog park and gets along well with other dogs. Dayo will need a bit of work on leash, but nothing that an Easy Walk harness and a bit of patience can’t fix. He’s very people oriented and aims to please, and is an overall excellent dog without any excess baggage. We have promised to find Dayo a new home in the suburbs or the country, one with lots of room for this playful guy, and with the presence of family members for a good part of the day. Dayo would be equally ideal for either a single, couple or family. Please complete an adoption questionnaire on our website if you would like to offer wonderful Dayo a forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dayo, a Rigaud Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Rigaud, or seeking a Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Rigaud.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rigaud already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rigaud breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rigaud paves the way for another one to be saved.
