My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chandler is a handsome one-year old male kitty who arrived at the HSOV on May 5, 2017. Chandler was originally brought to our shelter with his three siblings when they were just 4-weeks old. His siblings have all found homes of their very own, but Chandler is still waiting for the right person or family to fall in love with him.

Chandler has a dark brown tabby short smooth coat with white highlights on his chest/paws, a long ringed tail, and a darling face with large golden eyes and a burnished-copper nose.

Chandler is a friendly kitty who tends to be independent and to 'go his own way' . He does not aspire to be a lap kitty and would be happy to join in family activities when he chooses to do so :) Chandler deserves a great home where he can enjoy the freedom to play 'hide and go seek', so you may or may not see him very often. We truly believe that there is the perfect home for every cat or dog if we can just find it.

Thanks to our fantastic HSOV kennel techs and cat volunteers, Chandler is less 'aloof' these days and now comes running to the door of his cage and seeks attention :)

Chandler is up-to-date on vaccinations/wormer. He was neutered on August 24, 2016 and was also given rabies vaccine.

One of Chandler's siblings was combo tested and is negative for feline leukemia, FIV, and heartworm (which is also great news for Chandler) :)
