Charlie's Info...

Charlie's Story...
Man, there is so much to love about me. Where should I begin? I am sweet, loving, affectionate, and always up for a good snuggle. I get along great with other dogs, gentle & respectful children, and cats, I am already crate trained, and nothing gets my tail a waggin’ like being able to sit next to you on the couch watching some TV! I am a bit reserved at first, I’ll admit. I’m the type of fella who likes to sit back and watch the action rather than being in the middle of it. And did I mention that I am a total knockout? Just look at me! My name is Charlie, a long, lean loving machine who steals the heart of everyone I meet, and now I am out to steal yours! 2 years old-22lbs. My adoption fee is $200 and includes neuter, microchip & registration, 1 month pet health insurance, reduced-cost training class, free vet exam, leash/collar, toy & treat packet, food sample.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Charlie, a Portland Corgi/Basenji dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Corgi/Basenji for sale in Portland, or seeking a Corgi/Basenji dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Corgi/Basenji breeders who help with Corgi/Basenji rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
