Tommy's Story...

Tommy came into rescue and we really have no firm clue to his breed, Best guess is Shep X with some Aussie mix

He is currently 8 weeks old and loving life with his foster family He is a happy little guy and very confident. He is very well behaved and crate trained already. He lives happily with the foster family and their children and dogs.

Tommy is such a loving and gentle pup and will make anybody  happy to have him as part of their family.

Whilst He is in foster care he will be taught to use pee pads and to sleep in a crate on his own.

We are taking applications on Tommy now and he will be ready for his forever home on or after 5/30/2017

Please send an email to sscfwv@gmail.com and put Tommy's name  at the top of the email

He will be Neutered and have his Micro chip and all his puppy shots to date as well as his wormer.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tommy, a Charleston Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Norwegian Elkhound puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Norwegian Elkhound for sale in Charleston, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Norwegian Elkhound puppy from a breeder in Charleston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Charleston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Charleston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Norwegian Elkhound breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Norwegian Elkhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Charleston paves the way for another one to be saved.
