My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Casey.  Casey is a male about 1 1/2 years old.  Casey was found as a
stray, and after the good Samaritan who took him exhausted all options to
find his owner, he was relinquished to our rescue program.  He is a black
and white semi rough coated with a split face. 

Casey is good with other dogs, but he has not been evaluated with  cats.
He didn't know how to walk on a leash when we got him,  but he is quickly
learning. Like most border collies, he just wants to be with his human.
Casey is a little shy at first but, he quickly warms up to you.  All it
takes are some kind words and some patience.   Casey is learning his manners
as far as housetraining.   Casey is a quick learner who needs a confident,
dog savvy teacher and leader to help him build his confidence.  He will
blossom out with under the right tutelage.  He would probably be best placed
in an environment that does not have a lot of stimulus, or with small kids.
