Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Tulie. Tulie is a female 10-12 months Border Collie. She is
tri-colored with a smooth coat. Tulie comes to BCIN via the shelter system
in Tulare.
This older pup is one of the sweetest dogs you will meet. She likes all
dogs and has a very easy going personality, even though she is still
puppy-like. Loves to be around people. She will need a lot of chew toys to
keep her busy and to quell any destruction. Tulie comes with a clean slate,
as she does not appear to have any issues that many rescue dogs can have.
She is willing to learn, but would rather play than learn her lessons. She
will also self-entertain with toys and does play fetch. She is going to
need some obedience training on her and she is crate trained.
Tulie does exhibit some submissive urination when she gets excited and when
she first meets people. So, she needs a person who is willing to work with
her to overcome it. It should subside with time, once she builds her
confidence. This type of behavior should be ignored and the dog should
never be scolded for it. It is important to control the excitement level in
her environment. Here's a useful website on this topic:

Tulie's adopters must be committed to work with the destruction and energy
associated with raising a puppy, along with housebreaking accidents. As
with all puppies, socialization and puppy obedience classes are a must.
This will ensure that you will have an outgoing, socialized, well behaved,
and well-adjusted adult dog in your family.
If you are interested in meeting our dogs, please fill out an adoption
application. We require a pre-approved application to be on file before any
meet and greets are scheduled. The electronic application can be found on
our website at
